Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of UTI combined with continuous hemofiltration on plasma inflammatory factors in patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS).Methods 46 patients with MODS were assigned to observation group(receiving UTI combined with continuous hemofiltration) and control group(receiving blood filtration only) according to order of admission.Changes of renal function,APACHEII scores, inflammatory cytokine interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),length of hospital stay and continuous hemofiltration(CVVH) using time of the two groups were compared. Results Urea nitrogen(BUN) and creatinine(Scr) of both groups decreased after treatment and the decrease of the observation group were more significant(P 0.05).Serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF of both groups decreased after treatment and the decrease of the observation group were more significant(P 0.05).And APACHEII score of both groups also decreased after treatment and the decrease of the observation group were more significant(P 0.05).CVVH using and hospitalization time were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion CVVH combined with UTI can clear a variety of plasma inflammatory mediators in patients with MODS,and can also improve renal function and reduce hospital stay, thus it is worthy of clinical application.
