Abstract
In order to improve the control precision and speed of Static Var Compensator(SVC),it is necessary to analyze the detection method of SVC control signal thoroughly. The detection method of the Static Var Compensator(SVC) control signal is discussed in this paper when the three-phase voltage distortion and current asymmetries occur in the load. This method is based on the Instantaneous Reactive Power Theory. The detection method of the Static Var Compensator(SVC) control signal is discussed in this paper when the three-phase voltage distortion and current asymmetries occur in the load. The simulation results indicate that the detection method introduced can obtain the control signal of SVC rapidly, effectively and accurately, and the method can provide the guiding role in a certain extent to engineering practice of SVC.
