It analysis Chu Hsi's view on the nature of The Book of Songs (Shih Ching) as literature. Chu His points out there are some Yin-shi in The Book of Songs. He also points out Guo-feng are folk songs. Chu Hsi's Shih Ji-chuan is the most important resource of the literature studying of The Book of Songs(Shih Ching).
