Abstract

.In Song Dynasty,Local labor and rural administration are the two sides of a coin.When maintaining social order in rural areas,Song Dynasty changed the form of its administration.Nevertheless,the substantial contents in taxation and social order maintenance seldom changed.As far as Local labor in Song Dynasty is concerned,its social transformation in Tang and Song Dynasties didn't finish until the late period of northern Song Dynasty.
