Abstract

The establishment and perfection of China's socialist market economic system, as well as China's entrance of WTO, have integrated Chinese economy into the international market. As a result, the convertibility of RMB becomes an irreversible tendency of development. However, the advance of this trend should not be conducted rashly. The working procedures of convertibility of Chinese RMB are suggested to be adjusted to the present situations of China and to be advanced gradually in due order and in a sound manner.
