Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound in the staging of liver fibrosis in chronic hepatitis. Methods 192 patients with liver fibrosis were examined on ultrasound and liver biopsy, and 50 cases of healthy people as a comparison. The liver ultrasound quantitative indicators and liver tissue pathological fibrosis stage was compared and analyzed. Results Spleen diameter, the inner diameter of the splenic vein, and portal vein diameter, portal vein maximum flow rate is closely related with the stage of liver fibrosis, differences between groups were statistically significant(P0.05 or P 0.01).When the diagnostic threshold values were: 12.0cm,6.9mm,12.2mm and 21.5cm/s,the sensitivity and specificity can reach 60% to 80%.Conclusion The color Doppler ultrasound is a noninvasive, objective evaluation method of liver fibrosis degree.
