Woman Sports’ Prosperity and Its Reasons in Tang Dynasty

Woman’s sports are an important part of the physical culture in Tang Dynasty. In ancient history of sports, Woman’s sports in Tang Dynasty are splendid in China and distinctive in the world. This thesis expounds the prosperous development of woman’s sports in Tang Dynasty, and analyses the reason why it can achieve so brilliant achievements by document information method. The author considers that the woman sports’ prosperous development in Tang Dynasty is the results of the social evolution and improvement of woman’s social position. This conclusion has provided some reference for the development of woman and social sports at present time.
