Abstract

Objective:To investigate the influence on human cervical cancer Hela cell growth induced by TP.Methods:Hela cells were treated with TP of the different concentrations.MTT method was used to detect the growth inhibition effects.Flow cytometry was used to detect the proliferation and apoptosis of the cells after staining by PI or Annexin V-FITC and PI.Results:The cell growth was inhibited significantly, with a time and dose dependent manner. After TP treatment, the apoptosis of Hela cells were induced.FCM analysis found that the number of treated cells in G0/G1 phase increased, but that in S and G2/M phase decreased. The apoptosis rate was significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:TP can significantly inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of Hela cells.
