Abstract
The discontinuous phase method of noncontact on-line monitoring blade vibration based on single tip sensor is presented. In this method, the blade vibration displacement is obtained by measuring time that the blade tip arrives at the sensor fixed on the shell. The blade swing can be calculated by the blade vibration displacement sequence from many times measurements, and the blade vibration frequency would be acquired by DFT to the blade vibration displacement sequence. The results of theory simulation and experiment show that the blade swing and frequency could be acquired accurately, and this method is effective.
