Abstract

The traditional active power filter(APF) based on the load current detection method, with proportional intergal(PI) controller,is usually used for harmonic compensation.Due to PI control can not realize tracking zero steady state error, the compensation effect is limited.Meanwhile extra current sensors are needed to measure load current. When the harmonic source is far away from APF,it is difficult to detect the load current and transmit the signals.A harmonic compensation control method without current sensor is adopted. The point of common coupling(PCC) voltage between APF and the grid is detected. The voltage signal is converted to the current signal of instructions which is used in compensating harmonic through summing up the relationship of the voltage and current, and realizing system harmonic compensation through proportional complex integral(PCI) controller without static error.Simulation and experimental results verify the correctness and feasibility of the scheme.
