Application of Task-Based Approach in Vocational College English Teaching

Abstract

Task-based approach is a meaning-focused English teaching mode with the implementation of language communicative tasks as its objective,which applies the basic theories of language application to the practice of English classroom teaching.Taking task-designing in English classroom teaching of vocational college as example,this paper discussed the application of task-based language teaching theories to English classroom teaching to enhance the practicality of vocational college English teaching and improve students' communicative competence.
