Abstract
A formulation of chlorpyrifos and emamectin benzoate 30% EW was developed and its properties and storage stability were tested. The best formula for chlorpyrifos and emamectin benzoate 30% EW and its manufacturing process were described as well.Butyl hydroxyl anisole was selected as stabilizer for emamectin benzoate and calcium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and triphenyl vinyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate salt complex was selected as emulsifier.Storage stability tests showed that the decomposition rate of the active ingredient was less than 5% at(54±2) °C for 14 days and room temperature for 2 years. The physical and chemical properties of the formulated product confirmed to the requirements of EW formulation.Field efficacy trial showed that it was good for controlling rice stem borer.
