Abstract
A field experiment was set up to study the effect of different nitrogen application levels and density levels on root in peanut seedling stage. The results show that nitrogen application levels significantly influences root morphology, root length, surface area and volume rise with the increasing nitrogen dose, nitrogen increases the accumulation of dry weight and root to shoot radio, suggesting that nitrogen enhances root development. On the contrary, the increasing of density inhibits the root development.
