Statistics and Analysis on Highly Cited Papers of China Library Science in 2004-2008

Abstract
By statistical analyzing the quoted situation of the highly cited papers on library research in China 2004-2008,the result shows that,in 2004-2008 highly cited papers of domestic library research has 104 pieces,and the total cited frequency is 5705 times,each cited frequency is 54.85 times in average.Based on the publication of highly cited papers,it screens out the major journals on library research,prolific authors and prolific research institutes,and statically analyzes the output areas and the themes of highly cited papers.
