Abstract

Historically speaking,our ancestors placed great emphasis on filial piety.Filial piety is a very important part of Confucius thought.Confucius insisted that son should show reverence and care for his parents,and he opposed feudal ethics and rites.However,the adherents of the teachings of Confucius violated the primitive significance of filial piety.In fact,modern society also needs Confucius thought about filial piety.
