Abstract
Considering the shortcomings in manual stowing program, a ship's automatic stowing program is developed, which produce the ship's automatic stowage scheme according to the ship's stowage, stowage factor, draft, etc, and calculation results are presented meet the requirements of the ship's stability of ship, float condition, strength according to the international conventions and rules. Based on automatic stowage, manual fine adjustment is also included. The results of real ship's calculations demonstrate that the proposed program has many merits determining the ship's stowage scheme swiftly and reasonably. The program can reinforce the function of computer in ship's stowage, improve the efficiency of ship stowage and is an important theoretical basis to ensure the ship's safe loading and discharging.
