Abstract

Objective To summarize the clinical experiences of mesh repair on abdominal incisional hernia.Methods The clinical data of 32 cases of abdominal incisional hernia treated in our hospital from June 2003 to March 2009 were retrospectively analyzed.All cases underwent sublay repair,among which,25 cases with reinforcement,7 cases with bridging.Results All cases were healed and no severe complication happened.All cases were followed up and no recurrence during 1 to 68 months.Conclusions Sublay repair of incisional hernia of abdominal wall with mesh was a safe and superior method.
