Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of interal fixation combined with reconstruction of coracoclavicular ligaments to treat Ⅲ°coracoclavicular dislocation. Methods: 83 cases of Ⅲ°coracoclavi- cular dislocation classified by Allman were grouped according to their treatment using internal fixation. 13 cases were treated with Kirschnre's Pin(group A ), 34 cases with Kirschnre's Pin and tension band wiring(group B ) and 36 cases with Crook plate(group C). Results : All of the cases were followed up for 8 to 18 months .According to Karlsson standard, the rate of excellence was 69.23%, 91.18% and 94.44% for groupA, group B and group C. Conclusions: Internal fixation combined with reconstruction of coracoclavicular ligaments for treatment of Ⅲ°coracoclavicular dislocation is an efficient method. In the three groups, the therapy of group B and group C are much better than group A. The key point of treatment is to pay attention to the reconstruction of coracoclavicular ligaments.
