Abstract
Based on the extended linear expenditure system model(ELES) expansion theory, with cross-sectional data and time series, this paper empirically studies consumption structure trend of rural residents in Shanxi during 2005-2009,and analyzes marginal propensity to consume, income elasticity of demand and price elasticity. We get the appropriate conclusions and put forward relative suggestions.
