Curative Effect of Danlong Zhiyang Pills for Cutaneous Pruritus with Blood Deficiency and Wind Dryness

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Danlong Zhiyang Pills in the treatment of cutaneous pruritus w ith blood deficiency and w ind dryness.Methods: One hundred and tw enty patients w ere equally randomized into 3 groups,Danlong Zhiyang Pills group,Wushe Zhiyang Pills group,and Desloratadine group.Patients in the 3 groups w ere given the corresponding drugs.After treatment,scores of prutitus and clinical symptoms w ere recorded for the evaluation of therapeutic effect.Results: The scores w ere decreased in 3 groups after treatment(P 0.01 compared w ith those before treatment),the symptom relief and therapeutic effect in Danlong Zhiyang Pills group w as superior to that in Wushe Zhiyang Pills group and Desloratadine group(P 0.05 or P 0.01),and the symptom relief and therapeutic effect in Wushe Zhiyang Pills group(P 0.05) w as superior to in Desloratadine group(P 0.05).Danlong Zhiyang Pills group and Wushe Zhiyang Pills group had a higher recurrence rate than Desloratadine group(P 0.01).Conclusion:Danlong Zhiyang Pills show certain therapeutic effect for cutaneous pruritus.
