Abstract
A method for determination of selenium in biological samples by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry was developed.The samples were decomposed with HNO3-HClO4 and Fe3+ was used as relieving reagent in 4 mol/L HCl medium.The detection limit of the method was 0.02 μg/L.The method has been applied to the determination of selenium in biological national standard reference materials and the results are in agreement with certified values with precision of 1.51% RSD(n=11).
