The Modern Acupoint-spectrum of Primary Dysmenorrhea

Objective: by means of the investigation of periodical literature in recent 10 years,a study on modern acupoint-spectrum of primary dysmenorrhea with acupuncture.Methods: Search record the literature quantity at first,and then article amount with acupuncture-moxibustion,using frequency of 361 meridian-acupoint and 40 extra-meridian points of primary dysmenorrhea in the database of periodical literature of www.cnki.net/oldindex.htm.And then do the acupuncture medical literature of that disease with hand retrieval.Obtain the common used acupoints,less used and no used acupoints in the treatment and prevention of primary dysmenorrhea with acupuncture.Results: The 122 articals record that primary dysmenorrhea were treated by acupuncture in recent 15 years,72 acupoints were used,the common used acupoints with 5% using frequency are as follows,LR3、RN4、ST36、 RN6、RN3、SP8、LR3、BL32、BL23、SP10、ST28、BL18、LI4、BL20、DU4、ST29、SP9、KI3、KI6、PC6、EX-B8、EX-CA1、GB34、 RN12.Conclusion: The common used acupoints RN4、BL32、EX-B8、SP8、SP6、LR3 are recmmended for primary dysmenorrhea.
