Research and practice of clinical skills training model for local medical school in new era

Since entering the new century,with the rapid development of science and technology and global integration process,the clinical medical education situation has changed dramatically,such as the internationalization of higher medical education,the popularization of higher education,diversity,etc.,especially the international medical education standards were enacted.The characteristics of the internationalization of medical education have become increasingly evident.How to adapt to the current new situation and adjust the training of clinical goals,knowledge structure,and clinical practice skills standards,localization of international standards to ensure the quality of clinical training is a major task of the local medical schools in China.This paper summarizes the innovation that had been made for students' clinical training in Guangxi Medical University over the past five years.The measures,including creating a teaching platform,improving teaching conditions,adjusting education standards,improving the teaching contents,innovating teaching methods,enacting new teaching regulations,etc.have been made.The new clinical skills training model has provided an experience for other local medical schools to cultivate the students with international medical education standards and qualified for clinical practice in the new era.
