Abstract
Objective To understand the infection situation of CoxA16 and EV71 among the cases with hand food and month disease(HFMD) in Guangzhou in 2010.Methods Stool samples from patients dignosed as HFMD were collected to detecte pan-enterovirus,Cox A16 and EV 71 by using Real-time PCR.Results Positive rate of pan-enterovirus was 61.32%,of Coxsackie A16 was 29.82%,and of Enterovirus 71 was 70.18%.Most of the positive samples were from the patients from 0 to 4 years old,the positive number of pan-enterovirus,Cox A16 and EV 71 were 694 209 and 485 respectively. Conclusion CoxA16 and EV71 are the major pathogens of HFMD in Guangzhou in 2010,and EV71 accouted more.Children aged from 0 to 4 years are susceptible to HFMD.
