Abstract

Through reviewing the literature published between 1999 and 2004, study on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of trigeminal neuralgia is summarized in the following aspects: points prescription, acupuncture manipulation, moxibustion treatment and other therapy. Deficiency lying in the previous studies and the work to be done are pointed out.
