Study Progresses on the Treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia with Acupuncture

Abstract

The article summarized acupuncture treatments of trigeminal neuralgia from four aspects including acupuncture plus electro-acupuncture,acupuncture plus point injection,acupuncture and Chinese medicine and combination therapy for nearly a decade in order to highlight an important role of acupuncture in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia,and proposed some problems for previous studies and the future development direction.
