Abstract
Objective To study the effects of losartan on hypertension and hyperuricemia.Methods Sixty patients with hypertension associated with hyperuricemia were elected and divided into two groups by random.Treating group included 37 patients took losartan 50~100mg/d.Control group included 34 patients took enalapril 10~20mg/d.The changes of blood pressure and level of uricacid in blood were recorded before and after treatment for 4 weeks. Results Blood pressure reduced apparently in the two group.The level of uricacid in blood reduced apparently in treating group.There was significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion Losartan can be used for reducing blood pressure and the level of uricacid in blood.
