An Analysis to the Native Cultural Teaching in College English Teaching

Language is in close relation with culture.The cultural teaching in the college English teaching has been emphasized in-creasingly and made some achievements.However,in the cultural teaching,Chinese native culture is actually not sufficient at all.As a result,many students failed to make use of English to express their own native culture effectively,which may lead to their loss of voice in cross-culture communication.Therefore,it is necessary to increase the knowledge of native culture in college English syllabus and in textbooks.And college English teachers need to improve their own culture quality further as well to help the students through a variety of methods to improve their cross-cultural communicative ability.
