Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic significance of the expression of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 proteins in cervical lesion tissues. Methods To detect the expression of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 proteins in 20 normal uterine cervix,84 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and 30 cervical squamous cell carcinoma by immunohistochemical method. Results The positive expression rates of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 were 10.00%,0,5.00% and 5.00% in normal uterine cervix. The positive expression rates of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 were 33.33%、82.14%、54.76% and 47.62% in CIN.The positive expression rates of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 were 56.67%、100.00%、86.67% and 76.67% in cervical squamous cell carcinoma. The significant differences statistically of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 proteins expression in normal uterine cervix,CIN and cervical squamous cell carcinoma were observed(P 0.05).The positive expression rates of EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 increased with the progression of cervical neoplasia. All groups had statistical difference(P 0.05).EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 expression was positively associated with each other(P 0.05).Conclusion EGFR、P16、Ki67 and P53 expression may be involved in the occurrence and development of cervical lesions.Combined detection of the four proteins can be used as the CIN classification and diagnosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma of the important reference index.
