Abstract
Traffic conflict technique is a new evaluating method using non-accident statistics in traffic safety field.It rapidly and quantitatively evaluates traffic safety situation with multi-stylebook and is different from accident statistic evaluation method.Trough analyzing the road conditions and traffic from signalized intersections' traffic conflict data,and based on concept,the relation model between the signalized intersections' road and traffic conditions and traffic conflict data is established in this paper.Synthetic influencing coefficient,which is a method to evaluate signalized intersection safety,is presented based on traffic conflict.According to the traffic flow,ratio of intersection traffic,traffic composition and ratio of left-turn vehicles,a synthetic influencing coefficient K on traffic conflict rate can be estimated,and the degree of traffic safety can be determined.
