An Analysis of the Soft Power Application in the Cultural Diplomacy in Japan

Abstract

After the Japanese realization of the soft power’s importance, they began to promote the cultural diplomacy strategy and make full use of the soft power in the diplomatic practice. The effect is very good. Referring to China, the potential for cultural diplomacy has not been fully exploited and we should study their advanced experience. Also we should pay more attention to strengthen our cultural diplomacy to make more contributions to the construction of our harmonious society.
