Abstract

[Objective]To understand the information of industrial production environmental monitoring and the health status of populations exposed to occupational hazards in Haidian District of Beijing during the recent 5 years.[Methods]The results of the occupational hazards surveillance and occupational health monitoring were analyzed statistically in this area from 2006-2010.[Results]There were 530 enterprises including 5 913 working points totally investigated on working environmental monitoring and the unqualified rate of occupational hazards was 5.8%;the unqualified rate of chemicals, dust and noise was 0.7%,11.5% and 11.3%.Chemical hazards mainly included formaldehyde, ozone, chloroform, toluene, xylene.Dust mainly included silica dust, wood dust and others;a total of 50 935 workers from 1 090 enterprises received occupational health examination, the abnormal health examination item rate of chemical hazards(mainly benzene series,BTEX),dust and noise was 0.4%,0.2%,15.9% respectively.[Conclusion]The most serious occupational hazard is noise, followed by dust and benzene series in Haidian District
