Abstract
It is an innovation in belt conveyor design by means of the virtual prototype technology.The paper presents a design method by means of using VP software ADAMS to simulate the continuous belt conveying,and describes how the 3D prototype model is built,the prototype is assembled,the constraints are design,and how the virtual prototype for belt conveyor based on ADAMS is built.It also simulates the starting and normal operational conditions of the prototype,and the dynamics and kinematics results are very close to the practical ones.
