Abstract

In the book of The Primary Explore of Narrative Discourse in Contemporary Novels, it used western theories as a source of reference, compared and analyzed their relative merits, refined the theoritical frame of narrative discourse paradigm , and offered a completely new interpretation of Chinese contemporary novels' historical transformation. Contemporary novels were firstly generalized and analyzed in the works, which has revealing significance for the rewriting of contemporary novels and history of literature.
