Abstract

Objective: To study the diagnosis value of CA_(125),CA_(199),CEA and NES in lung cancer. Methods: The serum levels of CA_(125),CA_(199),CEA and NES were assayed and compared between the lung cancer group(75 cases) and the benign lung diseases group(60 cases) by electrochemiluminesence immunoassay. Results: 1.The serum levels of CA_(125),CEA and NES in the lung cancer group were 115.83±113.21,12.43±11.7,and 17.81±8.13,respectively,which were higher than those in the benign disease group, with no statistic difference in CA_(199)(12.1±8.8)between the two groups.2.Generally,there were statistic differences in CEA level in different pathology types of lung cancer.Adenocarcinoma had a much higher CEA level(20.65±13.88) compared with other pathology types.Small cell lung cancer had a higher NSE level.3.The sensitivity of combined tumor marker measurment was 73.33%(55/75),much higher than a single marker measurement(CEA 45.33%,CA_(125) 53.33%,NSE 36.00%).Conclusion: ①The serum CA_(125),CEA and NES are of great value in differentiation diagnosis of lung benign from malignant disease, with CA_(199)inadvisable as a tumor marker.②The combined measurement of serum CA_(125),CEA and NES can improve diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of lung cancer.③The combined measurement of serum CA_(125),CEA and NES in the patients with pleural effusion is advocated, which can improve the differentiation diagnostic sensitivity.
