Clinical Observation on Endoscopic Surgery in Chronic Nasal Sinusitis

Abstract

Objective To observe and improve the effect of endoscopic surgery(ESS)in nasal sinusitis.Methods 300cases of chronic nasal sinusitis were treated by ESS,and follow-up surveyed for6months postopera-tively.Results It was found that230cases(76.67%)were cured,53cases(17.67%)got improved,but17cases(5.66%)failed,and the effective rate was94.34%.The main complications were intraoperatine bleeding and postop-erative adhesion of nasal cavity.Conclusion The curative effect of ESS is successful.It is effective to clear the ill tis-sue and treat middle turbinate correctly,and clear the operating cavity after operation.It could reduce operative compli-cations and ensure a good outcome for endoscopic surgery.
