Abstract
A synthetical heredity analysis was provided for ear length and ear diameter based on the Griffing diallel design for 6 inbred lines of super sweet corn.The analysis of ear length and ear diameter heterosis indicated that the hybrized combinations expressed over average parent and close to high parent.The order of ear length GCA value was T9T13T17T3T24T1,and the order of ear diameter GCA value was T24T17T13T9T3T1.The generalized heritability(81.13%) and narrow heritability(78.71%) of ear length was higher than ear diameter,both the generalized heritability and narrow heritability of ear diameter showed lower,which were 55.39% and 8.86%.According to the analysis of combining ability and variance analysis of parents and combinations,the utilization value of the inbreds was synthetically evaluated.It could be used in breeding practice for select high yield variety.
