Abstract

A modular design concept for an active vibration control platform was put forward, which adopted finite element method to establish the structure dynamic model of a modular vibration isolation module. And the dynamic equation was applied to simulate simple open active vibration control of this vibration isolation module, and then the conclusion that the vibration in two degree-of-freedom directions of this vibration isolation platform could be effectively controlled by appropriately adjusting the output force of driving part actuator was gained. Through the research on vibration amplitude factor, the natural oscillation of this module was not found within its working frequency band. Therefore, active vibration isolation technology was utilized for vibration whose frequency was lower than its natural frequency. Finally further analysis was carried out on dynamic characteristics of the above vibration isolation module, which demonstrated that the established dynamic model could well describe the dynamic characteristics of the vibration isolation module.
