Abstract

Atmospheric and room temperature plasma(ARTP)-UV composite mutagenesis were adopted to treat with erythromycin-producing strain, four high-efficient producing strains were obtained by screening, which was increased in fermentation potency by 25.2% over the original strain. The mutant 12# with genetic stability was obtained. Its yield of erythromycin was 10029 U/ mL, 28.6% higher than the original strain. ARTP-UV composite mutation was a simple and efficient method for screening.
