Abstract
[Objective] To determine the best hydrolysis conditions of wheat straws by dilute sulfuric acid.[Method] With wheat straws as raw materials, they were hydrolyzed under the catalysis of dilute sulfuric acid, and the effects of hydrolysis temperature, sulfuric acid concentration and hydrolysis time on the reducing sugar content in wheat straw hydrolyzate were studied, and the best hydrolysis conditions were determined.[Result] The reducing sugar content was the highest when the wheat straws was hydrolyzed by 5.0% sulfuric acid at 120 ℃ for 150 min, under which the actual yield of reducing sugars was 83.3%.[Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for better utilizing the wheat straw resources.
