Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship between missed abortion of fetuses and chromosomal aneuploidy. Methods Chromosome 13,21,16 and 22single sequence probes and centromere probes of 18,X and Y chromosome probes were used to detect abortion tissue samples. Results Among the 86 abortion samples,44 abnormal cases were found, including 2cases of 13-trisomy,9cases of 16-trisomy,6cases of 18-trisomy,2cases of21-trisomy,9cases of 22-trisomy,5cases of 45,X,1case of XXY,1case of XXX,7cases of triploid and 2cases of tetraploid.Age of women in abnormal chromosome group and normal group had no statistical significance and the gender of fetus had no statistical significance either(P0.05).Conclusion Chromosome abnormalities is one of the main reason for missed abortion,so the detection of chromosome on abortion, not only can understand the reason for the abortion, but also have great significance for the next pregnancy.
