The effect of preoperative nursing intervention on anxiety of the patient under going laparoscopic hysterectomy

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of preoperative nursing intervention on anxiety of the patient under going laparoscopic hysterectomy.Methods 80 cases with patients under going laparoscopic hysterectomy from October2012 to April 2013 were randomly divided into two groups,every group 40 cases,the observation group received preoperative nursing intervention while the control group received routine nursing interventions,Zung self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) was used to observe changes of anxiety situation in two groups. Results After nursing intervention,SAS scores of the observation group than that of the control group and before intervention were lower,with statistical differ-ence(P 0.05).Conclusion To take preoperative nursing intervention,patients can reduce anxiety levels,establish the confidence to overcome the disease,improve patient initiative and actively cooperate with the surgery.
