Abstract
Qiushuwan copper (molybdenum) deposit is confirmed to be the complex porphyry type copper (molybdenum) deposit through close study on its geological characters. It is concluded that the Qiushuwan copper-molybdenum mineralization has genetic association with granodiorite porphyry in terms of the characteristics of mineralization-alteration zonation, stable isotopes,REE distribution pattern, etc. It has been pointed out that there is a potential for finding large scale ores inside and outside of the deposit
