Interdisciplinary feature of knowmetrics

Taking the whole system of human knowledge as its research subject,knowmetrics is an emerging inter-disciplinary discipline that carries out a comprehensive study of the knowledge capacity of the society and the social relations of knowledge through such methods as quantitative analysis and computing technology.Knowmetrics is an interdisciplinary discipline.Using the version of CiteSpace 2.1.R16,we drew the maps of co-occurrence analysis and co-word analysis in order to promote the development of konwmetrics.The map of co-occurrence analysis shows the interdisciplinary feature and the core status of computer science,library and information scicence,and knowledge engineering.The map of co-word analysis shows the 15 main research fields of Knowmetrics.The core research fields are knowledge management and mapping knowledge domains.
