Mapping knowledge domains of research with document co-citation

The term “mapping knowledge domains” was chosen to describe a newly evolving interdisciplinary area of science aimed at the process of charting, mining, analyzing, sorting, enabling navigation of, and displaying knowledge, and the co-citation analysis is key technique of it. In this article, we took the field of strategic management as a example to demonstrate its specific operation.
