Abstract
In order to enlarge production capacity and improve effluent quality, the original treatment process for dyeing and finishing wastewater from a textile factory in Jiangsu Province was modified to a combined hydrolysis-acidification/aerobic bio-oxidation/coagulation/air flotation. The practical results indicate that the removal efficiencies of SS,BOD_5,COD and color are 63.6%,93.4%,92.3% and 92.9 %,respectively. The effluent quality satisfies the class I criteria of the Discharge Standard of Water Pollutant for Dyeing and Finishing of Textile Industry(GB 4287-92).
