Abstract

By making analysis on the problems existing in the printing and dyeing wastewater treatment in a banner and tent factory, the modified hydrolytic acidification/contact oxidation/coagulation and air-flotation process was presented. The running result shows that the removal rate of COD, BOD_5, SS, and color is 93%, 97%, 91%, and 90% respectively; and the effluent quality comes up to the II-class criteria specified in the Local Wastewater Discharge Standard in Shanghai (DB 31/199—1997), and part of effluent is reused.
