CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE AND VALUABLE OF FOREHEAD SKIN RETAINING STRUCTURE

[Objective]To investigate the significance of skin retaining structure of forehead in plastic and aesthetic surgery.[Methods]15 bodies by 40.0% formalin fixed adult cadavers were dissected frontal skull to observe the retention of the amount of skin structure,and cut the parietal region extending to the eyebrow skin,the HE staining,superficial fascia of the coating film in the skull,the deep fascia or periosteum,and observed the structures and its relationship between the surrounding structures.[Results]Skin retaining structure in forehead was closely correlated with superficial fascia.These structures were inboard eyebrow retaining structure,forehead restricting ligament,tightness area under musculus frontalis,frontal bone zygomatic process retaining structure.They were key restricting factors in forehead lifting.It was important to release them in operation.[Conclusion]Frontal retention structure is mainly superficial fascia in specific parts of the film,and is more closely with the longitudinal fibers of the corresponding thickening of the skin fixed in the local,which would be enhanced and the amount of clinical research on skin aging,and provide a morphological basis.
