On the Disparity between Chinese Women's Basketball Team and World Top Teams from the Olympic Women's Basketball Match in Athens

Abstract

By means of literature reviews,video observation,comparative analysis,in combination with the performance by Chinese Women's Basketball team during the match,the authors of this paper try to make an objective analysis toward the competitive ability of the Chinese team,comment on its advantages and disadvantages,point out where it falls short compared with the world top teams and elaborate especially on some of the problems that should be dealt with and relative countermeasures for the Chinese Women's Basketball team participated in the Olympic Women's Basketball Match in 2008.
