Abstract
By analyzing the main technical indexes of women basketball matches in Beijing Olympic Games,it’s found out that there exist obvious disparities of Chinese women basketball team,compared with American and Australian women basketball teams,in scoring,rebounds and steals,the reasons of which are due to the players’ poor basic skills,simple tactics,weak tactic consciousness and inexperienced cooperation.Therefore,it is proposed that the scientific training methods should be introduced to the training of Chinese women basketball team,that the quality of domestic women basketball league should be improved and that more talented coaches and players should be sent to the American and European high level leagues to improve themselves.
